Mollify is a website where you can share your files with the perfect style. The Mollify is a web file manager that is created for publishing and managing the files that are hosted in a web server of your choice. Different users can have access to different files along with different permissions.

Basically the Mollify is an AJAX based web file manager with a very clean and customizable user interface and a PHP back-end. It is very easy to configure and multiple the fully configurable published directories with the aliases. The user interface is very simple and intuitive. It comes with languages like Deutsch, English, Francoise, Portuguese. The Mollify is 100% free to use and also the sources are available with the EPL 1.0 license.

The features of the Mollify include the languages like Deutsch, English, Español, Français, Italiano, Português. The published directories are fully configurable including the alias that are underlying the file system structure that is not revealed. The user authentication is optional. Each user can have different directories get published. The database configuration is MySQL. The file level user access control is editable from client by the admin users. An intuitive path bar shows all the parts of the current path. Change is allowed directly into any folder in any level. The file and directory details and the actions are available directly from the context pop-up menu. Download, rename, copy, move and delete are the file actions that are available. Directory actions that are available includes create, move, rename and delete.

The other features of Mollify include support for the downloading files and folders in the zipped format. It also supports for the editable file and the directory descriptions. Multiple file uploading is provided with the progress display support. What more?? It also supports the flash uploader. The file list are sortable by the columns based on name, type and size. It is fully customizable UI via the CSS files and no styles are “hard-coded”. They have an independent front-end and back-end. Both these implementations can be replaced by communication with the HTTP/JSON. It is built-in standalone demo mode for the demonstration and theme development.

The future enhancements of Mollify include group actions for many files at once. It is also planning to include support for the Amazon S3 file hosting. Other features planned includes list filtering, drop box where you can collect the files from different locations into the drop box and perform actions to them later on. Last but not the least, they are planning to provide a tree or grid view.
