ShootQ: Your personal virtual studio manager
ShootQ is a virtual studio manager that can assist you from the instant a prospective client contacts you until the final product is delivered. The ShootQ keeps your job leads and also the workflow organized thereby always reminding you about what needs to be done next.
The versatility and automation of the ShootQ has been developed with studios that one has in mind enabling you to condense the responsibilities of many employees into one single robust platform. The ShootQ would act as your customer service manager by giving the real time updates on the production status via a client login area by keeping the trivial interruptions to as minimum as possible. Everyone stays informed with the ShootQ’s notes feature by allowing multiple employees to track the conversations with the clients so that everyone is on the same page. Even if you forget to bill your clients on an occasion, its absolutely ok as the ShootQ can automatically send email reminders to get your clients to pay their bills. By doing all these procedures, your business will run so smoothly that your clients will be impressed on your well organization.
Now for those who prefer data entry to photography, that is transferring the customer information between your address book, calendar, proofing solution, invoicing the software and album software, they can use a web-based platform. The ShootQ would help you in connecting people and the software together so that the data is shared between your solutions.
ShootQ is not the result of focus groups or a market research. It is a result of passion, a passion for photography and above all a passion for empowering the photographers to grow their businesses and to realize their dreams. In short, ShootQ was developed by the photographers and is for the photographers.
The ShootQ’s database resides on a webserver where multiple people from multiple locations can log into the database and keep the information up-to-date. All the LaCour photographers, studio manager and even the clients could log into the ShootQ. The ShootQ could also serve as a business hub thereby connecting the public to the other software applications.
ShootQ was first developed by LaCour photographer Andrew Niesen. When the LaCour team realized that they could help the other photographers, they made the ShootQ available to the others and also hired a team of professional developers to re-write this application. Today this professionally developed ShootQ is available to the public. The ShootQ team along with the feedback from the ShootQ community continues to innovate and create the solutions that would empower the photographers.
